Camp Philosophy
At the ETSU Soccer Academy we strive to create the ideal learning environment. Coaches will challenge young players to improve and hold them to high standards. Attacking play and creativity will be encouraged in an environment that is positive and always fun. This combination of an experienced and enthusiastic staff, top notch facilities, and a well constructed curriculum will provide each camper an excellent experience.
During early morning technical training you will build and refine a solid foundation of skills through attention to detail and repetition. The morning session to follow is designed to translate newly acquired skills to match relevant games adding the elements of pressure and confined spaces.
The afternoon sessions will be focused on decision making and small group tactics. This will be taught through intense small-sided games where each player will be asked to make countless decisions. During the evening matches you will put the tactics and strategy focused on during the earlier sessions to the test - culminating in the Academy tournament on the final day.
The quality of a camp rises and falls on the quality of coaches and staff. We are dedicated to hiring top staff from around the US and abroad. Each coach is highly experienced with a great knowledge of the game and will properly teach our carefully designed curriculum.
The ETSU Soccer Academy has been extremely pleased with the progress we have made over the past few years. We believe that it is your camp experience that allows us this continued success.
